Just wanted to share a few images from Faiz&Sarah’s absolutely stunning wedding this past weekend at the Horticulture Center in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. Nothing was going to stop this wedding celebration from being something truly spectacular. Not even the snow and rain. Not only a beautifully designed event by Beka Rendell and Kimberly Fink from Styled Creative but this wedding was truly a witness to Faiz&Sarah, and their love. Photographing this wedding was a absolute delight and I had the privilege of collaborating with some truly incredible artists. A huge thanks to Michael Ash, my second photographer (DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CHECK OUT MIKE’S COLLECTION FROM THIS WEDDING ON HIS BLOG HERE), and the incredible team from Society Hill Studios (the best videographers I have ever worked with by the way! highly recommended!) for making this such a pleasure. And of course to Faiz&Sarah for the immense privilege of documenting their wedding day – thank you! Much more soon. And the spectacular floral design was by the amazing Sullivan Owen. This was also another wedding where I used the incredible PHASE ONE 645DF system and IQ180 digital back. The color depth and richness of the files this combo with the Schneider Kreuznach lenses produces is just astounding. And this is especially clear in post production where there is just layer upon layer of color to work with. The richness of these files is superb. Digital medium format definitely has me sold now. 2012 will see me shooting the medium permanently. The combination of medium format with my D3X and the M9 is just pure perfection.
